Death At A Funeral

July 1, 2018

This started off as an entry for a film poster challenge within the Foxtel design team called See Movie Make Art. It was rendered in Cycles4D, and being a simple scene it rendered fairly quickly around 7 minutes per frame. Cycles4D is however a unbiased pathtracer, it does not have any adaptive algorithms.  A few months later I was trying out Redshift renderer and decided to rebuild this scene to mainly try to learn it. The rendertimes I was getting (1 minute 20 seconds per frame) was so good I decided to render out a quick 125f sequence.
